This article talks about the current winter olympics. For years the winter olympics have been predominantly white. This is mainly because the origin of the olympics is from colder areas such as Scandinavia. And for years, they pulled competitors from places like Germany, Austria, and Russia. This year, however, has seen a more diverse group of competitors, such as Jamaican bobsled athlete, Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian. It is good to see these type of changes, so little black boys and girls can have hope in a world that tells them they have to do a certain job or play a certain sport.
